SIMIACCI Partners collaborate on MOF-Based Air Filter testing at DTU
Indietro

On 27 February, Christian Serre from CNRS visited the indoor environment and ventilation laboratory at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) to review the ongoing evaluation of MOF-based air filters developed by SIMIACCI partners SquairTech and TEQOYA.

The visit focused on the formaldehyde-capture performance of the filters currently being tested at DTU, and led to productive discussions on the latest results and future research directions.

A strong example of the cross-partner collaboration driving SIMIACCI’s innovative approach to indoor air quality in GLAMsg

Why It Matters

MOF-based filtration is one of the most promising technologies explored within SIMIACCI, offering highly selective and energy-efficient capture of targeted pollutants. Testing under realistic indoor conditions at DTU is a critical step towards validating these materials for deployment in the project’s seven demonstration sites across Europe.
