From lab to scale: MOF production at IMAP/ESPCI Paris
Voltar

At the Institute of Porous Materials of Paris (IMAP/ESPCI), SIMIACCI partners are developing the production process for Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) across multiple stages and scales.

The process begins with small quantities (1–2 g) to study, optimise and validate synthesis conditions. It is then progressively scaled up using intermediate reactors, allowing researchers to monitor potential deviations in material quality and adjust parameters before moving to large-scale production.

This work is part of WP5, dedicated to the synthesis and shaping optimisation of MOF adsorbents, and directly supports the development of SIMIACCI’s advanced air filtration solutions for GLAM environments.
