Partner description
The DM is the largest Museum for Science and Technology in Germany, including a collection of original exhibits, a large library and one special archive. The Conservation Science Department investigates the materials of the collection in order to support historical object-based research and to analyse deterioration processes and to develop preservation solutions.
Role in the project
As a GLAM partner, DM will define specifications of new adsorbent technologies for IAQ, conduct stability and compatibility tests of new adsorbent materials for their application in GLAMs, monitor air quality with a wireless connection and IT framework, optimize devices, conduct lab tests and validation, and contribute to communication, dissemination, and clustering activities.
