Partner description
TEQOYA is a French company that designs and manufactures air purifiers. Founded by Pierre Guitton, it was inspired by Jacques Breton, professor at the University of Bordeaux, whose research focused on air ionization and the generation of negative ions without producing ozone. TEQOYA aims to provide clean air while maintaining a minimal ecological footprint. Their products are energy-efficient, silent, and locally manufactured in France and the Basque Country.
Role in the project
TEQOYA will advance eco-friendly IAQ solutions for GLAMs by enhancing its AirObserver platform with predictive models and wireless sensor networks (WSN) to monitor pollutants specific to GLAM environments. They will develop real-scale prototypes, innovative maintenance systems, and commercialization strategies, while providing training for GLAM staff on device use and data interpretation. This will contribute to the implementation of efficient IAQ management tailored to heritage preservation needs.
